LandPatterns is a Texas Corporation founded in March of 2000 by landscape architect, Marc Funderburk, and construction and contracting veteran, Clay Andrew, with the primary goal of providing quality landscape architecture, installation and maintenance to discerning clientele. Since the company’s inception, Marc and Clay have developed a team of landscape architects, landscape designers and associates who share their strong work ethic, creative problem solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to our family of clients. Each team member makes individual contributions to the company that, when combined, create a unique and dynamic landscape architecture company.

D. Marc Funderburk, ASLA President marc@landpatterns.com
Marc graduated with honors from Louisiana State University in 1978 with a Master of Landscape Architecture. He was awarded a certificate of Merit from the American Society of Landscape Architects for excellence in graduate studies. He began his practice in Houston in 1979 and became a registered landscape architect in 1980. He moved his practice to Arlington, Texas in 1981 and has practiced in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area since then. Marc earned his LEED accreditation in the summer of 2009. He has received awards from the ASLA, ALCA, TALC and numerous civic organizations for his professional work. He is active in his church, scouting and other volunteer organizations. |

Clay Andrew Vice President clay@landpatterns.com
Clay graduated with honors from Mississippi State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Construction and Contracting. Following graduation, he worked in Alabama and Florida and in 1995 he moved his family back to Texas to join Marc at another landscape architecture firm until 2000. Clay brings a wealth of construction and landscape management experience to the firm. In his spare time, Clay flies airplanes as a licensed pilot, SCUBA diver, and is an avid sportsman and golfer. |

Sarah Copp Landscape Associate /Director of Marketing sarah@landpatterns.com
Sarah graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Journalism in 2000. After several years in the advertising industry, she decided to pursue her passion for landscape architecture and design and joined LandPatterns in 2008 as a landscape designer/landscape associate. Sarah also lends her advertising talents to create and execute marketing and advertising strategies for the firm. Sarah completed the Dallas County Master Gardener program in 2010 and became a certified Master Gardener in 2011. Sarah and her husband welcomed their daughter, Merrill, in May of 2010. Sarah is an avid runner, SCUBA diver, gardener and golfer and is involved with various animal rescue groups. |

Cheryl Siggins Office Manager/Accounting
Cheryl has extensive office management and accounting experience in the Architecture, General Contracting, and Landscape Architecture fields. Her professional experience includes office management and accounting for Michael F. Twichell, L.P. and ICS Commercial, L.P. for the past 10 years, and has just recently joined the LandPatterns team. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, and attending their many extracurricular activities.

Timothy Reed Landscape Designer treed@landpatterns.com
Timothy graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 with a Master of Landscape Architecture degree and his career path since then has allowed him to practice in Texas, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma with projects throughout the country and abroad. He is a member of the APLD and has won multiple awards for his design prowess. As a bonafied tree hugger and a member of the Sierra Club, you will find him out trodding through the wilderness whenever he gets a chance. In addition, whenever the opportunity arises, you will find him on a plane travelling around our beautiful country and overseas in search of his next great adventure. |
