Digit 1919, a multifamily development located on South Akard Street is open for lease. For this project, LandPatterns teamed with Buzzworks co-founder Zad Roumaya for the first time, after being introduced by longtime LandPatterns collaborator and ParmaDesign owner Kevin Parma.
Ground was broken in the Cedars District for Digit 1919 in September of 2016. The project was designed by ParmaDesign, built by KWA Construction and is managed by Portico Management Company.
LandPatterns was responsible for the development of the landscape expression. Architectural features included in the project were an urban planting expression, patios, and walkways. Other site features included irrigation and a proposed dog wash area.
During the project, communication between Roumaya, LandPatterns and subcontractors was critical in completing the project in August, a month ahead of schedule.
Buzzworks developments are known for their distinctive amenities and Digit 1919 does not disappoint. Amenities at the 102-unit complex include: keyless entry, climate control and a puppy cam all accessible through a phone application with internet included in their rent. Residents can explore the neighborhood and around the apartments with the help of a social media application and a mobile hotspot.
Digit 1919 is expected to be fully leased by May of 2018.
